Mapping Communities Affected by Sea Level Rise
To effectively create and connect an international community of places where sea level rise is being addressed, we need to know which communities are being affected. This map identifies the places at risk.
The interactive map below works in the following ways:
- Click on each icon to identify the communities where sea level rise is predicted to be a problem. A pop up box will give you a brief description of the projected seriousness of the problem, the solutions being proposed or impemented, and a link to more information. The pop up box will also include contact information for the organizations leding the efforts to solve the problem, and an image (if available).
